Rose City Golf Club is located 20 minutes from downtown Portland, and like Eastmoreland, is a historically significant property. Located on the former site of Portland Country Club, the front nine used to be one of four racetracks and also served as a landing field for airplanes in the nearby vicinity. The course was built in 1923, making it the second oldest municipal golf course in Oregon. The clubhouse was finished in 1932 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Today, this golf course features challenging long par 4’s and tree-lined fairways.
