Heron Lakes Golf Course, located just 10 minutes north of downtown Portland, features two 18-hole championship courses designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. While both courses are drastically different in their layouts – Greenback being a parkland style course and Great Blue being a Scottish Links style – they both are favorite tracks among locals and visitors alike, and balance challenge with scenic natural surrounds. They are also ranked among the top courses in the Pacific Northwest and have hosted the U.S. Public Links, Neil Lomax Quarterback Shootout and several other competitive events.
