Spring Hollow Golf Club opened in 1994 and is one of the region’s top daily fee golf courses. Designed by John Thompson, the 18-hole, par-70 layout measures just over 6,000 yards from the tips and features dramatic elevation changes and several scenic holes that play over water. Located less than 35 miles from Philadelphia, Spring Hollow also includes two practice greens for chipping and putting, a pro shop, local dining favorite Spring Hollow Bar & Grille, which occupies a former dairy barn, an award-winning banquet venue, as well as outdoor event space.

A day in the life
You will greet and serve food and/or beverages to patrons for the restaurant and banquets.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing immediate attention to all members/guests upon seating, greet warmly and distribute menus.
• If local water conservation laws permit, filling glasses with ice water while guests decide upon order; answering questions and suggesting menu items.
• Taking member/guest food and/or drink orders.
• Turning orders into kitchen; informing cooks about any special cooking instructions.
• Assembling food on tray; procure items from each station as necessary.
• Serving meal; placing dishes by courses in front of each person.
• Checking back to ensure member/guest satisfaction.
• Removing soiled dishes as guests finished.
• Suggesting and serving dessert, coffee, and after dinner drinks.
• Verifying accuracy of prices, state and federal taxes, tips and other charges on all checks and presenting bill to guests.
• Handling all cash and credit cards as applicable from guest/member charges as prescribed by standard operating procedures.
• Keeping tables, dining room and bus station clean and tidy.
• Advising supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur.
• Performing side work, clean-up and closing duties as assigned.
• Attending pre-meal meetings as requested.
• Turning in signed tip declaration form weekly (where applicable)
• Performing other duties as appropriate.

Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone interested in a part-time or full-time schedule, seasonal or year-round.

• High school preferred.
• 1 year server experience preferred.
• Demonstrates quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.
• Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
