A day in the life
You will manage food and beverage service in the snack bar and/or halfway house outlets. You will also supervise staff order supplies and implement controls to ensure that budgeted food, labor, supplies and other costs are achieved.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Providing food and beverage service in accordance with the menu and company quality standards.
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, and production, storeroom, service and other areas.
• Ensuring that required income and cost control procedures are consistently used.
• Requisitioning supplies from club’s kitchen and storeroom to ensure proper transfer and storage.
• Providing adequate display of garnishes and condiments on “self-serve” basis.
• Complying with applicable health, alcoholic beverage, fire and other laws/requirements.
• Inspecting club facility to ensure that sanitation, safety, energy management, preventive maintenance and other programs are in place in area(s) of responsibility.
• Assisting with the production and service of food and beverage products as necessary.
• Managing employment activities for applicable staff members
• Must be a minimum of 18 years old to serve alcohol and tend bar.
• Perform other duties as appropriate.

We are looking for a dynamic, engaging, people person willing and able to interact in a positive manner with the Membership and their Guests.

• High school required. College degree preferred.
• 2 years applicable functional, supervisory and/or management experience, preferably in the golf industry.
• Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including evenings/weekends.
• Must have Illinois BASSET certification.
