Q: What motivated you to begin teaching?
A: I got my start in golf through a junior golf program and since I started my career in the PGA, I have enjoyed helping people enjoy the game of golf more by improving their games.

 

Q: What has been the most impactful moment in your teaching career thus far?
A: Probably just the feeling I get as an instructor when a student hits a shot that makes them go “WOW.”

 

Q: What advice do you have for a beginner picking up the game?
A: Seek out an instructor you are comfortable with and learn the correct way to grip and swing the club.

 

Q: What is the most rewarding part of your job?
A: The most rewarding part is seeing a brand-new student get hooked on the game, improving and wanting to play more, even dedicating themselves to the game.

 

Q: In your opinion, what makes golf great and fun?
A: It is the most dynamic sport, with ever changing scenery, conditions, and challenges and it is truly the sport for a lifetime.
