Community Outreach Manager
Aligned Mission of KemperSports and Portland Parks Golf
KemperSports contracts with Portland Parks and Recreation to manage the City’s 4 eastside golf courses – Eastmoreland Golf Course, Rose City Golf Club, Heron Lakes Golf Club, and Colwood Golf Center. The Community Outreach Manager is an integral part of the local KemperSports marketing team that will support the operations of these properties and champion the joint missions of KemperSports and Portland Parks Golf.
Portland Parks Golf’s vision is to create more diverse, vibrant golf spaces where a broader public can feel welcome, find enjoyment, and play a game they can enjoy for a lifetime. Developing opportunities to engage with the non-golfing public and to welcome people from communities of color, women, and other underrepresented populations into the game is crucial to our mission. We aim to address the residual impacts of past exclusion of these communities in the game of golf and grow the next generation of golfers.
