City of Clyde (Texas) Partners with KemperSports at The Hanner Sports Complex

NORTHBROOK, Ill., Dec. 17, 2024 – The City of Clyde, Texas, has selected KemperSports, a leader in sports, entertainment and hospitality, to provide operational leadership and support of the newly opened Hanner Sports Complex. This state-of-the-art outdoor sports and recreation facility, completed in 2023, represents a $15 million private investment designed to serve as both a regional sports destination and a source of pride for the local community. The complex will also serve as the home fields for the Clyde High School varsity baseball and softball teams.

Located 160 miles west of Dallas, the complex is the result of a collaboration between the City of Clyde and the Clyde School District. It is expected to attract tournaments, events and visitors from across the region.

Through its KemperSports Venues division, KemperSports will apply its 40-plus years of expertise in marketing and sales of recreational facilities to drive growth for the facility. The company has deep relationships with the country’s largest operators of club sports and events and will focus efforts to attract events in the local, regional and national markets.

The Hanner Sports Complex includes:

• Six turf baseball/softball fields
• Multi-purpose turf soccer/football field
• Four tennis courts
• Four pickleball courts
• Two sand volleyball courts
• Splash pad
• Children’s playground
• Concession stands
