KemperSports Venues Adds Will Spence as Regional Operations Executive

NORTHBROOK, Ill., May 29, 2024 – KemperSports, a leading golf, sports, entertainment and hospitality company, announced today that longtime sports industry veteran Will Spence will join the KemperSports Venues team as regional operations executive. In his new role, Will will leverage his wealth of experience in sports facility management and development to oversee KemperSports Venues’ growing family of facilities nationwide, with a focus on enhancing athlete and guest experiences and driving community impact.

“Will is a respected leader within the youth and recreational sports industry and brings over 20 years of experience leading high-performing teams,” said Senior Vice President of KemperSports Venues Steve Goris. “We’re thrilled to have him and his passion for sports, service and community engagement join our growing team.”

Will joins KemperSports from Ripken Baseball, where he served as executive vice president leading sports and entertainment complexes and groups, including the Sports Force Parks at Cedar Point Sports Center, 17 Tournaments and Oakwood Lodging Group. Prior to that, he served as vice president of Sportsfields Inc., where he helped open four new sports complexes, launched 12 different sports brands, and led the integration and launch of dozens of local community sports programs.
