The Wilderness at Lake Jackson superintendent, Blayne Sparks, shared his experience of managing the property in Texas in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey on Golf Course Industry’s podcast. The course experienced tremendous flooding, but Blayne and his team planned ahead, saving their cart fleet and maintenance vehicles with creative thinking that led to a multi-million dollar equipment savings. The team strategically placed the cart fleet and maintenance vehicles on the highest parts of the golf course before the flooding hit.
